Rep. Andy Biggs, who represents Arizona’s 5th congressional district, shared a series of posts on his social media account on October 14, 2025, addressing issues ranging from government funding to personal remembrances.

In a post published at 00:21 UTC, Biggs wrote, “Not American taxpayers.” At 11:43 UTC, he stated, “Good morning. Today would be a great day for Democrats to put Americans over illegal aliens and open the federal government.” Later that day, at 13:13 UTC, Biggs posted a personal message: “Happy birthday Charlie. We miss you and your leadership, but we know that you’re celebrating with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ this year. Please keep Erika and the children in your prayers today.”

Andy Biggs has served as a member of the U.S. Congress for Arizona’s 5th District since 2017, following his tenure in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. He succeeded Richard Miranda in Congress and has been an active figure in Arizona politics for over a decade. Born in Tucson in 1958, Biggs currently resides in Gilbert, Arizona. He holds a BA from Brigham Young University and a JD from the University of Arizona.
