Rep. Andy Biggs, who represents Arizona’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on community events and public service initiatives through a series of posts on his social media account.
On March 30, 2026, Biggs announced the return of a local resource fair for veterans and seniors: “One of the highlights of my time in Congress has been organizing Drop Zone – the one-stop resource fair for veterans’ services and senior benefits. The following day, he commended local law enforcement for their ongoing efforts: “Kudos to our @QCPolice officers for their vigilance in keeping our community safe. We appreciate your service! https://t.co/NaWfWtr38w” (March 31, 2026).
Later on March 31, Biggs addressed concerns about national fiscal policy as America nears its semiquincentennial: “As we approach America’s 250th birthday, the best gift we can give the next generation is a government that finally lives by the same rule every family does and stops pretending this mountain of debt does not matter. https://t.co/nwSG7Y11rC”.
Biggs has served Arizona’s 5th District in Congress since 2017 after previously holding office in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, he holds degrees from Brigham Young University and the University of Arizona.
