Rep. Andy Biggs, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, posted a series of statements on his social media account on November 12, 2025, addressing recent campus violence, political accusations against former President Trump, and criticism of the Affordable Care Act.
In a post published at 16:37 UTC, Biggs commented on an incident involving Charlie Kirk at UC Berkeley: “We are all Charlie Kirk. God bless this man and all the victims of the violent lunatics at UC Berkeley.”
Later that day, at 19:39 UTC, Biggs responded to actions by Democratic members of the House Oversight Committee regarding President Trump: “Today’s claims by @OversightDems are nothing more than an attempt to slander a sitting President simply because they disagree with his policies. The Left loves to hate President Trump.”
At 22:48 UTC, Biggs criticized the Affordable Care Act in another post: “The “Affordable” Care Act was NEVER affordable, nor did it provide quality healthcare. Truly affordable healthcare wouldn’t need to be subsidized by taxpayers. Obamacare was a complete and total failure.”
Biggs has served in Congress since replacing Richard Miranda in 2017 and previously held office in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, he graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in 1982 and earned his JD from the University of Arizona in 1984.
