Rep. Andy Biggs, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, recently made several statements on his social media account addressing issues related to public safety and immigration policy.

On September 14, 2025, Biggs posted a brief message: “For Charlie. https://t.co/3hWvCcwkln”.

The following day, he commented on former President Donald Trump’s policies and the enforcement of immigration laws. On September 15, 2025, Biggs wrote: “President Trump made D.C. safer and is working to restore the rule of law. Any local official who stands in the way of lawful deportations of illegal aliens but be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. https://t.co/ANOFLiRw6N”.

Later that same day, Biggs added another post referencing “Charlie”: “We will not allow Charlie’s legacy to die. https://t.co/nRCD2hVTrc”.

Biggs has served in Congress since replacing Richard Miranda in 2017 and previously held office in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. He was born in Tucson in 1958 and currently resides in Gilbert. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University (1982) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona (1984).
