Rep. Andy Biggs, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, posted a series of tweets on September 9, 2025, addressing issues ranging from media appearances to immigration and crime.

In his first post at 15:12 UTC, Biggs announced an upcoming appearance on Fox News with Harris Faulkner: “Coming up on Fox News with @HARRISFAULKNER soon. Tune in! https://t.co/7tUEs1Dok0”.

Later that day, at 16:34 UTC, he commented on U.S. immigration policy under President Joe Biden and Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas: “Upwards of 25 million foreign nationals invaded our country under Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas.

They broke the law to get here—every single illegal alien is a criminal.

President Trump, Tom Homan, and our brave @CBP and @ICEgov Agents are restoring law and order. https://t.co/fmjn1J7nIV“.

At 23:52 UTC, Biggs addressed a violent crime incident involving a refugee: “A racist career criminal murdered a refugee in cold blood.
Witnesses watched and did nothing as she cried.
A heartless man recorded on his phone as she bled out.

What have we become?

“Suicidal empathy is killing the West.”

Biggs has represented Arizona’s 5th District in Congress since succeeding Richard Miranda in 2017. Prior to his congressional service, he was a member of the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs earned his BA from Brigham Young University in 1982 and his JD from the University of Arizona in 1984.
