Rep. Andy Biggs, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, recently shared a series of posts on social media addressing issues of protest, governance, and the current U.S. administration.

On October 18, 2025, Biggs commented on the nature of protests in democratic societies, stating, “Ironically, a country with an actual king wouldn’t allow this protest. The very existence of this protest proves that it’s meaningless.” The following day, he posted a brief message directed at his political opponents: “Congrats libs, you did it!” on October 19, 2025.

Continuing his commentary on October 20, 2025, Biggs addressed the structure of American leadership and referenced President Joe Biden: “America doesn’t have a king. We have a President, duly elected by the people, who is working around the clock to restore law and order to our nation. I see how that could be confusing to the Left when they’re used to Joe Biden, the Autopen President. Thank you @POTUS.”

Biggs has served in Congress since replacing Richard Miranda in 2017 and previously served in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958, Biggs is currently 64 years old and resides in Gilbert. He holds a BA from Brigham Young University and a JD from the University of Arizona.
