Rep. Andy Biggs, who represents Arizona’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets in early January 2026 addressing U.S. foreign policy, judicial integrity, and local employment opportunities.

On January 3, 2026, Biggs commented on recent developments in Venezuela, stating: “The operation in Venezuela is a reminder that President Trump leads with resolve and will never hesitate to do what he thinks is best for American citizens. The criminal charges and indictments against illegitimate dictator Maduro form the legal basis for this law-enforcement”.

Later the same day, Biggs addressed concerns about judicial impartiality, writing: “Good. Corrupt judges with partisan agendas don’t belong anywhere near the bench.”

On January 5, 2026, he made reference to local hiring by tweeting: “Quality Learing Center must be hiring.”

Andy Biggs has represented Arizona’s 5th District in Congress since 2017 and previously served in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. He succeeded Richard Miranda as the district’s congressional representative. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and a JD from the University of Arizona.
