Rep. Andy Biggs, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, used his social media platform on December 8, 2025, to criticize Democratic leaders and the media while outlining his stance on healthcare reform.

In a post published at 21:35 UTC, Biggs stated: “The Democrats and the Leftstream Media want to sweep this story under the rug. We will not let that happen. Crooked Tim Walz must be held to account for his role in defrauding American citizens.”

Later that evening at 22:41 UTC, Biggs turned his attention to healthcare policy, writing: “Obamacare has failed Americans. Premiums are up, options are down, and families are trapped in plans they can’t afford to use. After a decade of soaring prices and shrinking options, it’s clear the status quo is broken and unsustainable. THREAD”

In a follow-up message posted one second later at 22:41 UTC, he added: “3/18 Last week, I delivered a detailed conservative healthcare reform framework to @SpeakerJohnson. My proposal lays out exactly what real reform looks like and highlights the bills ready to implement it. Since the legacy media won’t cover it, I will.”

Biggs has been active in national politics since succeeding Richard Miranda in Congress in 2017 after previously serving in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, he holds degrees from Brigham Young University (BA) and the University of Arizona (JD).
