Rep. Andy Biggs, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, posted several messages on September 10, 2025, expressing condolences and criticism in response to the death of Charlie Kirk.

In one post at 21:20 UTC, Biggs wrote: “Democrats refused to pause and pray for Charlie Kirk. When they show you who they are and what they stand for, believe them.”

Later that evening at 21:36 UTC, he offered prayers for Kirk’s family: “Erika and Charlie’s young children are in my family’s prayers as I know the Lord will cover them in love. Cindy and I ask everyone to continue praying and sending strength to the Kirk family. We have tragically lost a tremendous leader and a friend. But his most important role”

At 23:25 UTC on the same day, Biggs commented further on related developments with another brief statement: “This is repulsive.”

Andy Biggs has represented Arizona’s 5th District in Congress since succeeding Richard Miranda in 2017; prior to this role, he served in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958, Biggs resides in Gilbert and holds degrees from Brigham Young University (BA) and the University of Arizona (JD).
