Rep. Andy Biggs, who has represented Arizona’s 5th congressional district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, recently posted a series of tweets outlining his support for health insurance reform measures and legislative proposals.
On December 8, 2025, Rep. Biggs highlighted several legislative initiatives related to health coverage choice and flexibility. In one tweet, he wrote: “@RepEricBurlison’s MAHA Accounts Proposal sends federal dollars directly to policyholders to let families pick any insurance product they want.” (December 8, 2025).
In another post on the same day, Rep. Biggs referenced legislation he is sponsoring: “My Health Coverage Choice Act codifies Trump’s 2018 rule allowing long-term, flexible coverage for up to ten years.” (December 8, 2025).
He also endorsed additional reforms in a separate tweet: “@repkevinhern’s Choice Arrangement Act strengthens ICHRAs to give workers portable, tax-advantaged dollars for the plan of their choice.” (December 8, 2025).
Andy Biggs has served as a U.S. Representative since replacing Richard Miranda in 2017. Before joining Congress, he was a member of the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs holds a BA from Brigham Young University and a JD from the University of Arizona.
