Rep. Andy Biggs, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, posted a series of messages on September 10, 2025, expressing grief over the passing of Charlie Kirk.

In his first post at 20:20 UTC, Biggs wrote, “.@WillCain is spot on. Charlie Kirk is a great man and a lion in the conservative movement. I am grateful to call him my friend. Please keep praying.”

Later that evening at 20:51 UTC, he followed up with another message: “Charlie. My friend. I’m heartbroken. Rest now.”

At 21:16 UTC, Biggs posted again: “Indeed He did. Charlie is Home with our Savior, Jesus Christ.”

Andy Biggs has served in Congress since replacing Richard Miranda in 2017 and previously held office in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs holds degrees from Brigham Young University and the University of Arizona.
