Rep. Andy Biggs, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, posted a series of statements on December 2, 2025, expressing his views on voting rights, congressional debate conduct, and vaccine skepticism.

In one post published at 15:46 UTC, Biggs stated, “Only American citizens should vote in American elections. Only American citizens should be counted in the census. It’s a crying shame this has to be debated in the United States House of Representatives.”

Later that day at 18:23 UTC, he commented on an interaction during a committee markup session: “Maxwell Frost didn’t like the facts I shared during today’s @GOPoversight markup, so he repeatedly interrupted my remarks. Democrats don’t like it when they’re called out for acting on feelings instead of facts.”

In another post made at 23:03 UTC, Biggs referenced past skepticism about vaccines and criticized those involved in their promotion: “Remember when we were called conspiracy theorists for rightly questioning the efficacy and safety of a new ‘vaccine?’ Shame on everyone involved in this deadly coverup. You all have blood on your hands.”

Biggs has represented Arizona’s 5th District in Congress since replacing Richard Miranda in 2017 and previously served in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs holds degrees from Brigham Young University (BA) and the University of Arizona (JD).
