Rep. Andy Biggs, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, recently posted a series of statements on his social media account reflecting on legislative priorities and political leadership.

On December 30, 2025, Biggs stated, “We never needed new laws. We just needed a new President.” On the same day, he also shared another brief message: “Great news.”

Continuing his commentary the following day, December 31, 2025, Biggs posted: “Americans demand accountability, and @GOPoversight is going to deliver it.”

Biggs has been serving in Congress since replacing Richard Miranda in 2017 and previously held office in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. He was born in Tucson in 1958 and currently resides in Gilbert. Biggs earned his BA from Brigham Young University in 1982 and a JD from the University of Arizona in 1984.
