Rep. Andy Biggs, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, recently posted several messages on his official Twitter account addressing various observances and events.

On April 1, 2026, Biggs extended holiday greetings to his constituents celebrating Passover, stating: “I wish a Happy Passover to all who observe and celebrate this very meaningful time in #AZ05. Chag Pesach Sameach!”

The following day, April 2, he commented on the successful launch of Artemis II: “Another ‘giant step for mankind’ today with the successful launch of Artemis II. My prayers will be with the astronauts as they complete their mission. Safe travels – we are proud of the accomplishments of all who worked to make this event happen.”

Later that day, Biggs recognized the sacrifices made by children of American service members: “This month, we honor all the children of our American service members. These boys and girls, like their parents, make sacrifices – especially when their moms or dads are deployed overseas in defense of our nation and its interests. We continue to pray for our military children.”

Andy Biggs has served in Congress since replacing Richard Miranda in 2017 after previously holding office in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs graduated from Brigham Young University and earned a law degree from the University of Arizona.
