Rep. Andy Biggs, who has represented Arizona’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, posted a series of messages on November 10, 2025, addressing topics ranging from military celebrations to legal commentary and state-level prosecutions.
In a post marking the anniversary of the United States Marine Corps, Biggs wrote: “Today we celebrate 250 years of the few and the proud. For a quarter of a millennium, the United States Marine Corps has defended liberty with honor, courage, and unwavering resolve. Happy birthday, @USMC! https://t.co/LyEIua93Wy” (November 10, 2025).
Later that day, Biggs referenced comments attributed to another member of Congress: “‘It’s not illegal to commit a crime.’ -U.S. Rep. Pramila Jayapal, paraphrased. 8 U.S.C. § 1325. https://t.co/LSgbrWBu6j https://t.co/PkCVI8ZFaz” (November 10, 2025).
In his final tweet for the day, Biggs addressed ongoing legal actions in Arizona: “Thank you @EdMartinDOJ and President @realDonaldTrump! Now @AZAGMayes must follow the President’s lead and drop the politically-motivated prosecution of our Arizonan Electors. https://t.co/BJFUYng0Bg” (November 10, 2025).
Biggs was born in Tucson in 1958 and currently resides in Gilbert at age 64. He holds degrees from Brigham Young University and earned his law degree from the University of Arizona in 1984. Before joining Congress in 2017—succeeding Richard Miranda—he served in the Arizona Senate between 2013 and that year.
