Rep. Andy Biggs, who represents Arizona’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on his official X (formerly Twitter) account from December 18 to December 19, 2025, addressing topics ranging from presidential recognition to comments on transgender children and criminal prosecution.

On December 18, Biggs shared an approving message directed at the President: “Well-deserved, Mr. President! https://t.co/zY7sETXl4a”.

The following day, on December 19, he made a controversial statement regarding transgender children and praised Secretary Kennedy for their stance: “There are no transgender children, only those infected with the woke mind virus. Thank you @SecKennedy for standing for the truth! https://t.co/9JK6n4SLhe”.

Later that day, Biggs commented on crime and accountability within the Democratic party: “Here’s a revolutionary idea: Prosecute the criminals instead of letting them go. There’s zero accountability within the Democrat party. https://t.co/HILhiDW2WC”.

Biggs has represented Arizona’s 5th District in Congress since 2017 after succeeding Richard Miranda. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. Born in Tucson in 1958 and currently residing in Gilbert, Biggs holds a BA from Brigham Young University (1982) and a JD from the University of Arizona (1984).
