Rep. Andy Biggs, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, has recently used his social media platform to express support for former President Donald Trump and criticize actions taken by Democratic leaders regarding law enforcement and public health policy.

On September 1, 2025, Biggs posted: “President @realDonaldTrump is bringing sanity to the streets of D.C.

My bill, the Make D.C. Safe Again Act, will extend President Trump’s authority to mobilize D.C. Metro Police from 30 days to six months.

Congress must stand by the President as he makes America safe again.”

The following day, September 2, he commented on legal actions against Trump: “The Left’s lawfare against President Trump is never-ending.

Only American Democrats would have a problem with a president restoring law and order.”

Later that same day, Biggs shared criticism of Covid-19 vaccine safety measures: “‘People who got the vaccine had a 23% higher death rate from all causes.’ – HHS @SecKennedy

The Covid-19 vaccine was untested, unsafe, and ineffective.

We will never forget the healthcare freedoms stripped by the radical Biden-Harris-Fauci regime.”

Andy Biggs has served in Congress since replacing Richard Miranda in 2017 and previously held office in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2017. He was born in Tucson in 1958 and currently resides in Gilbert. Biggs graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in 1982 before earning his JD from the University of Arizona in 1984.
