Michael Carbone, Republican House majority leader in the Arizona House of Representatives, said Arizona is taking steps to advance the founding ideals of liberty and civic responsibility as part of the nation’s 250th anniversary celebrations.

“as america approaches its 250th anniversary this year, we honor the courage and conviction of those who founded this nation on liberty, responsibility, and equal justice under the law,” said Carbone, State Representative from Arizona. “america 250 is not just a celebration of history; it is a reminder that freedom is preserved by engaged citizens who understand their duty to the republic. the principles that carried us this far must be protected and passed on to the next generation. here, in arizona, we’re doing just that.”

Carbone posted a video on X featuring patriotic imagery of the American flag over Arizona landscapes with America 250 branding. The caption honors the founders’ vision rooted in liberty and equal justice while describing the anniversary as a call for citizen duty in safeguarding freedom. The message concludes by affirming active commitment to these values within the state.

According to Carbone, Arizona has formed the America250 Commission to organize and promote activities marking the nation’s 250th anniversary. The commission facilitates statewide programs that encourage reflection on historical events and shared heritage. These initiatives involve collaboration with communities to foster educational and cultural engagement for residents.

The national America250 initiative coordinates commemorations for the 250th anniversary of American independence across states and territories. Commissions at various levels develop events to involve citizens in celebrating foundational principles. The effort promotes unified participation in honoring the nation’s history and enduring values.

Carbone represents District 25 in the Arizona House of Representatives as a Republican and serves as House Majority Leader. He operates as a small business owner and emphasizes family values in his public role. His position enables leadership on state policies reflecting conservative priorities for Arizonans.
