Rep. Greg Stanton, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 4th district, recently posted a series of statements on his Twitter account covering federal spending priorities and local educational achievements.
On December 15, 2025, Stanton highlighted the importance of federal buildings in serving communities. He wrote, “Federal buildings aren’t just line items on a balance sheet, they’re where veterans get care, small businesses find support, & families access government services. Adding value for people means basing our decisions on data, not the whims of wealthy donors & billionaire tech bros”.
Later that day, he commented on economic concerns by stating “That’s $200 billion out of Americans’ pockets.” on December 15.
Turning to education and technology initiatives within his district, Stanton congratulated a local student: “Congratulations to Desert Vista High School senior Zander Coffman for winning the Congressional App Challenge! Your work is inspiring students across Arizona to learn more about programming. Thank you to ASU’s @LuminosityLab for serving as our judges!” This message was posted on December 16.
Stanton has served as the representative for Arizona’s 4th district since defeating Kelly Cooper in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections. In 2024, he won with 52.7% of the vote compared to Cooper’s 45.5%, following an earlier victory in 2022 with a margin of 56% to Cooper’s 43.1%.
