Rep. Greg Stanton, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 4th district, posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing topics ranging from local business growth to federal legislative procedures and press freedom.
On October 16, 2025, Stanton highlighted the success of a Mesa-based business: “Good to see Mesa’s own Cielito Rosa Bakery & Café is continuing to grow. I met the team on our Hispanic small business tour last year. Their story — from family recipes to a bakery and a community marketplace — is Arizona entrepreneurship at its best. I can’t wait to go back!”
Later that day, Stanton commented on congressional processes involving constituent advocacy, stating: “Bless his heart, the Speaker must not know how things work around here. Because she hasn’t been sworn in, she legally CAN’T be doing constituent advocacy with agencies like the VA, the IRS, or the Social Security Administration. She’s got a lot to do here, you’re the one” (October 16, 2025).
On October 17, 2025, Stanton addressed concerns about press freedom and Pentagon practices: “Nearly every Pentagon media outlet did the right thing and refused to sign the Pentagon’s loyalty pledge. A free press doesn’t need permission slips. Drop this unconstitutional muzzle and let the press do its job.”
Stanton has represented Arizona in Congress since first defeating Kelly Cooper in 2022 with 56% of the vote and again in 2024 with 52.7%. These electoral victories underscore his ongoing engagement with both local businesses and national policy issues.
