Rep. Greg Stanton, U.S. Congressman for Arizona’s 4th District, addressed a range of national issues and recent events in a series of posts on his official X account this week.

On December 12, 2025, Stanton criticized former President Donald Trump and the Department of Justice’s continued investigation into alleged voter fraud from the 2020 election, stating, “Pathetically, the Big Lie lives on. With apparently nothing better to do, Trump is wasting your tax dollars sending the DOJ chasing after 2020 ‘voter fraud.'”

The following day, Stanton highlighted legislative action supporting federal workers’ rights. On December 13, he wrote: “This week I voted to restore collective bargaining agreements covering more than a million federal employees that Trump had illegally ripped away.”

Later that same day, Stanton expressed condolences regarding an incident involving American service members overseas. He posted: “My prayers are with the families of the Americans killed today in Syria in service to their country, in defeat of terrorism, and in promotion of peace. Our nation owes them and their families a debt of gratitude for their duty, courage, and sacrifice. May God bless them and”

Stanton has represented Arizona’s 4th Congressional District since defeating Kelly Cooper in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections. In the most recent contest in 2024, Stanton secured victory with approximately 52.7% of the vote compared to Cooper’s 45.5%. In 2022, he won by a wider margin—56% to Cooper’s 43.1%.
