Rep. Greg Stanton, U.S. Representative for Arizona’s 4th congressional district, posted a series of statements on October 13, 2025, addressing issues ranging from congressional representation to Indigenous Peoples’ Day and the ongoing situation in Gaza.

In a post made at 17:06 UTC, Stanton commented on the delayed swearing-in of Rep.-elect Grijalva, stating, “Even Republicans are starting to demand @SpeakerJohnson swear in Rep.-elect Grijalva without delay. The people of #AZ07 are long overdue the representation guaranteed to them in our Constitution.”

Later that day, at 18:14 UTC, Stanton marked Indigenous Peoples’ Day with a message recognizing Arizona’s Native communities: “Today we celebrate the strength and leadership of Arizona’s Tribal Nations. This #IndigenousPeoplesDay, let us honor the rich cultural contributions of our Native communities and recommit to working alongside them so every Tribal community can thrive.”

In a subsequent post at 18:38 UTC, Stanton reflected on developments in Gaza, noting the importance of humanitarian progress and U.S. involvement: “Seeing the hostages reunited with their families and critical aid reaching Gaza is an inspiring moment reminding us what is most important: people and peace. U.S. leadership is even more critical now: ensuring the remainder of phase one of the peace plan is honored, including”

Stanton has represented Arizona in Congress since first winning election in 2018. In recent elections, he defeated Kelly Cooper in both 2022 and 2024, securing 56% of the vote in 2022 and 52.7% in 2024.
