Rep. Greg Stanton, who represents Arizona’s 4th congressional district, used his social media platform on October 15, 2025, to address several pressing issues and opportunities for his constituents.

In a post directed at House leadership, Stanton urged action to resolve the ongoing government shutdown. On October 15, 2025, he wrote, “Enough with the games @SpeakerJohnson. Call the House back. Swear in Adelita Grijalva. And reopen the government. We’ve got work to do.”

Stanton also reached out to young programmers in his district, promoting a competition designed to foster innovation and technical skills among students. Later that day, he posted, “Calling young coders: show us what you’ve got! The Congressional App Challenge is open to AZ-04 middle- and high- schoolers. Web, mobile, PC, robotics — you name it. Check out the details and remember to submit by October 30th https://t.co/ASg30beNe0.”

In a follow-up message, Stanton reminded constituents of an impending deadline, stating, “Don’t miss your chance to apply, nominations close today! https://t.co/BvZwr4lfvK” on October 15, 2025.

Stanton has held his seat since defeating Kelly Cooper in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections. In the most recent contest, he secured 52.7% of the vote to Cooper’s 45.5%, maintaining a consistent lead over his opponent.
