Rep. Greg Stanton, a member of Congress from Arizona, used his social media platform on November 15, 2025, to criticize former President Donald Trump’s trade and tariff policies, arguing that they have led to increased costs for Arizona families.

In a post dated November 15, 2025, Stanton quoted the former president and highlighted recent economic findings: ” Last Week: ‘I don’t want to hear about affordability.’ – President Trump

This week: A new report finding AZ families are paying an extra $944 p/yr thanks to his inflationary policies.

Trump should end his reckless trade war and lower prices for the American people now.”

Stanton followed up with another message providing further information for constituents interested in the specifics of the report he referenced. On November 15, 2025, he posted: “You can find the state-by-state report here: https://t.co/w6PG9ITFKm”.

Later that same day, Stanton reiterated his criticism of Trump’s tariffs and outlined his own efforts in Congress. In a tweet at 23:19 UTC on November 15, he stated: “Trump’s blanket tariffs are making life more expensive for families.

I’m helping lead the fight in Congress to reign in this reckless assault on the middle class. https://t.co/mvdZUVNJLX
