Rep. Greg Stanton, U.S. Congressman from Arizona, recently highlighted developments in community health care and addressed concerns about fentanyl trafficking in a series of posts on his official social media account.

On November 14, 2025, Stanton praised the work of Wesley Community Health Center, stating “Wesley already serves more uninsured patients than any other federally-funded community health center in AZ. I was proud to help break ground for the new Mary Rose Wilcox Center which will help even more families access the care they need.” In another post from the same day, he acknowledged the collaboration with local officials and organizations at the groundbreaking ceremony: “It was great to break ground on the project alongside local leaders and project partners, including @wesley_wellness, @friendlyhouseAZ, @phoenixida, @phxdistrict8 @phxdistrict4, @district7_phx, Supervisor Steve Gallardo, & @lelaalstonaz.”

Later that day, Stanton shifted focus to drug policy and international trade discussions related to public health. He posted: “If we want to save lives, fentanyl needs to be stopped at the source. I am hopeful that ongoing trade talks with China will shut down the flow of the chemicals used to make it before they ever reach our shores.”

Stanton’s recent activities follow his successful re-election campaigns in both 2022 and 2024 against Kelly Cooper. In 2024 he won by securing 52.7% of votes compared to Cooper’s 45.5%, while in 2022 he prevailed with a margin of 56% over Cooper’s 43.1%.
