Rep. Greg Stanton, a U.S. Congressman from Arizona, recently addressed water conservation policies and community engagement in a series of posts on his official social media account.

On December 20, 2025, Stanton emphasized the importance of establishing effective guidelines for managing Arizona’s water resources. He stated, “Fair rules plus real, measurable savings are how we protect Arizona’s water future.” In another post on the same day, he advocated for incentivizing those who prioritize sustainable water use: “We should also reward the states, communities, and water users who invest in proven conservation and reclamation, and set clear drought rules that kick in when supplies drop so we do not end up in chaos every time.”

Later that evening, Stanton shared his participation in a local religious event: “Honored to celebrate Hanukkah with the Temple Emanuel of Tempe — lighting the menorah, sharing Shabbat, and presenting a Congressional Commendation recognizing Temple Emanuel’s 50 years of service to the East Valley. Chag Sameach!”

Stanton has represented Arizona in Congress since winning election victories over Kelly Cooper in both 2022 and 2024. In the most recent contest, he secured 52.7% of the vote against Cooper’s 45.5%. Two years prior, he won with 56% to Cooper’s 43.1%.
