Rep. Greg Stanton, U.S. Representative for Arizona’s 4th congressional district, posted a series of updates on social media highlighting his community engagement and expressing support for local officials and sports teams.

On December 5, 2025, Stanton expressed enthusiasm for Arizona State University’s women’s volleyball team as they entered the NCAA tournament. He wrote, “Excited to root for @SunDevilVB as they take the court for the second round of the NCAA tournament. Good luck to coach @JJVanNiel and the team tonight! #ForksUp “

Later that same day, Stanton addressed an incident involving Rep. Grijalva. He stated, “Rep. Grijalva is doing what a Member of Congress should do: standing up for her constituents. Pepper spraying an elected official doing her job is outrageous and does nothing to make Arizona communities safer.” The message underscored his support for fellow lawmakers advocating on behalf of their districts.

On December 6, 2025, Stanton discussed efforts to improve local infrastructure following a meeting with Chandler Councilmember Angel Encinas. He shared, “It was great to meet with Councilmember Angel Encinas about delivering for our communities and bringing water infrastructure funding home to Chandler. Thanks for dropping by!”

Stanton has served in Congress since first winning election in 2018 and has successfully defended his seat in subsequent elections against Kelly Cooper—most recently in 2024 with a margin of 52.7% to 45.5%, following a previous victory in 2022 by a wider margin.
