Gilbert, AZ - 1989 marked the end of a decade, but the start of an age in Gilbert. It was a year where fearless visionaries with the wildest of dreams took the first steps in what would eventually become Gilbert’s Downtown Heritage District as we know it today.

Brilliant masterminds laid the groundwork necessary to officially designate the Heritage District as a Redevelopment Area, opening the doors to critical funding that swiftly breathed new life into the aging downtown.

Today, the thriving Gilbert Downtown Heritage District draws in millions of annual visitors, many who choose to stay stay stay and experience the vibrant kaleidoscope of art, dining, and retail all accented by bright neon lights and the iconic shimmering beautiful Gilbert Water Tower.

As we look toward the future, one thing is certain - Gilbert will never go out of style.
