Gilbert, AZ - The Gilbert Police Department was made aware of concerns made by a second-hand party involving a staff member at Higley High School. The alleged concerns stem from an incident out of Cochise County.  Neither Gilbert PD nor the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office have any arrests on record for the named Higley Unified School staff member as is inaccurately circulating on social media. Per the Higley School District policy, the staff member has been placed on administrative leave until further notice pending additional information. This remains an active investigation.
