Santa Claus will be taking last-minute Christmas wishes and be available for photos at The Post, located at 26 N. Macdonald, Dec. 21 through Dec. 23 from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. These will be his final visits to Merry Main Street in 2023 before he makes a quick trip back to the North Pole where he and the elves will load up his sleigh!

Visits from Santa are one of the many highlights of Merry Main Street. One of his best friends, Bingles, the Gnome on the Roam, will continue roaming downtown Mesa this holiday season. The adorable North Pole ambassador is stopping at popular Mesa locations to spread holiday cheer. Follow @CityofMesa on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to keep up with his Main Street activities. Look for clues each week to win prizes.

The Winter Wonderland Ice Rink will be open daily, except Dec. 25, through Jan. 6 at the Plaza at Mesa City Center, located at 56 E. Main St. Tickets for a specific day and session are on sale at merrymainst.com/icerink. Teen Skate, a special time just for teenagers to ice skate at the rink, is scheduled on Dec. 22 and Dec. 29 from 3 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Tickets are $10 and should be purchased in advance.

Other Merry Main Street activities include Holiday Happenings at the MAC (Mesa Arts Center), Holiday Movies at the Plaza on Saturdays, Jack Frost’s Food Truck Forest on Fridays and Saturdays at Pioneer Park and the Mesa Temple Christmas Lights through Dec. 31. Merry Main Street, presented by AT&T Fiber, is in partnership with the City of Mesa, Mesa Parks and Recreation, Downtown Mesa Association, Visit Mesa, Mesa Chamber of Commerce, AMR, Delta Hotels, Boeing, Caliber, Nesbitt Contracting, Prensa Arizona VCA Animal Referral & Emergency Center of Arizona and MT Builders.
