The City of Tempe, Arizona is seeking public input on the upcoming renovation of the clubhouse at Ken McDonald Golf Course. The project aims to create a new clubhouse building, provide additional parking, and update the adjacent practice areas.

According to a news release from the City of Tempe, the project is a joint effort between the city and CourseCo, the organization currently operating and maintaining the golf course through a long-term public-private partnership.

To gather input from the community, the city has scheduled both virtual and in-person public meetings. The meetings will provide an opportunity for residents to meet the architect team, learn about the project, and provide feedback.

Alex Jovanovic, a project contact from the City of Tempe, encourages residents to participate in the public meetings and share their thoughts on the clubhouse renovation. He can be reached at alexander_jovanovic@tempe.gov or 480-350-5811.

Savannah Harrelson, a media contact for the city, emphasized the importance of public involvement in the decision-making process. She stated, "We want to hear from the community, as their feedback will be crucial in shaping the final design of the clubhouse renovation." Savannah can be reached at savannah_harrelson@tempe.gov or 480-435-5999.

Residents who are unable to attend the public meetings can still participate by visiting the city's website at tempe.gov/clubhouse. From February 28 to March 20, project details will be available online, and residents can submit their comments and suggestions.

The City of Tempe is committed to ensuring that the renovation of the Ken McDonald Golf Course clubhouse meets the needs and preferences of the community. By seeking input from residents, the city aims to create a revitalized clubhouse that will enhance the overall golfing experience for both visitors and local golf enthusiasts.

Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars for the upcoming public meetings and take advantage of the opportunity to contribute to the renovation plans.
