Wedgewood, a leading provider of compounded medications for animals, celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for its new state-of-the-art facility in Chandler, Arizona. The event, which took place at 1680 E. Northrop Blvd, was attended by Mayor Kevin Hartke and Wedgewood CEO Marcy Bliss.

The new 90,000-square-foot veterinary pharmacy, set to open in early 2025, will serve as a hub for rapid delivery throughout the western United States and offer local pick-up options for pet owners. It will also support Wedgewood's new online pharmacy platform, Blue Rabbit, aimed at speeding up deliveries to pet parents, animal owners, and veterinarians nationwide.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by members of Wedgewood’s leadership team, the Chandler City Council, the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, and the Arizona Commerce Authority, showcasing the community's support for the project. The new facility will be built by Gilbane, a global builder and real estate developer.
