Mesa residents can now sign up for the City’s Parks and Recreation summer programs. The registration for non-Mesa residents will open next Monday, April 15 at 8 a.m. The programs cater to people of all ages and abilities.
The programs offered include a wide range of activities such as adult sports like volleyball, softball, tennis, pickleball, and more. There are youth activities like tennis, cheer clinics, and even a Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit and Run event. Teen activities include dodgeball night, pickleball night, tennis camps, tournaments, and STEM activities.
Adaptive recreation programs are also available, including summer camps, hiking, fitness activities, and recreational bowling. Mesa Aquatics is offering private swim lessons for all ages, swim lesson classes, aquatic sports teams, Dive-In Movies, and more.
In addition to these, there are programs like classical dance, babysitting and child safety, tai chi, and Dungeons & Dragons. The full list of programs and activities can be found in the summer PLAYBOOK Magazine.
Registration for summer programs and activities can be done through various methods such as online using the Active Net Registration System, via email, by mail, or in-person at the Mesa Parks and Recreation office. Registration forms are available in both English and Spanish.
