Tempe, AZ - The City of Tempe is excited to announce the return of the Movies in the Park series this May, offering residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy classic family-friendly movies under the stars at Kiwanis Park. The series will take place on the first four Friday nights of May, with movies beginning at dusk, approximately 7 p.m., on the north soccer fields at Kiwanis Park.
According to a city official, attendees are encouraged to "Come early to reserve your spot and hang out with the Tempe Play Mobile for fun pre-movie activities." The events promise to provide entertainment for all ages, with a special "Summer of Fun Kickoff" event scheduled for the first movie night on Friday, May 3, featuring games and activities to showcase the exciting opportunities available in Tempe during the summer months.
Each Friday will feature a different film, starting with "The Little Mermaid" on May 3, followed by "Wish" on May 10, "Finding Nemo" on May 17, and "Elemental" on May 24. The movie nights aim to bring the community together for a memorable outdoor cinematic experience.
