Picture (THIS) is a program that merges poetry with digital film and animation, creating what they call "Poetry in MOTION." The initiative offers 10 to 12-week residencies where participants develop an idea from concept to a professionally produced digital story. Participants are guided by teaching artists through collaboration, research, storyboarding, and video production. Upon completion of the residency, participants have the chance to submit their work for viewing at an annual film festival.

The Picture (THIS) Digital Storytelling Festival & Anthology Release Party marks the end of the second semester of programming. Students will have the opportunity to present their work on what is referred to as the “BIG Stage.” This platform presents both excitement and challenges. It is described as "an exciting privilege" but also comes with "anxiety, fear and the weight of responsibility" for sharing one's story publicly.

The festival's goal is to help students confront these fears while providing them with mentorship and opportunities to excel. The event operates under the motto “Expression Squared = Resilience,” aiming to empower students by connecting them with resources that allow them to shine.
