Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) has been selected to continue as Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance for the 119th Congress. This marks his second term as Chairman and his third term as the highest-ranking Republican on the Subcommittee.

Biggs expressed his commitment to addressing what he described as challenges posed by current federal policies. "It's an honor to serve once again as the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance," he stated. He highlighted concerns over "the radical Biden-Harris regime's weaponization of federal law enforcement agencies against law-abiding Americans" and criticized policies he believes have increased crime.

He also acknowledged the efforts of his colleagues and staff, stating, "The Crime and Federal Government Surveillance Subcommittee wouldn't be the workhorse we are without my colleagues and staff." Biggs looks forward to collaborating with other leaders in advancing policies aimed at enhancing community safety. "I look forward to working alongside Chairman Jordan, members of the Subcommittee, and President Trump to advance policies that will make American communities safe once again," he added.
