Teens, businesses, schools, churches, and families are invited to participate in the first Gilbert Day of Service for Seniors this year. The event is organized by Weekly Collective Volunteers and the Town of Gilbert. It will take place on Saturday, January 18th, from 7:30 am to 11:30 am at Page Commons, located at 170 N. Oak St., Downtown Gilbert.
Participants are encouraged to register online at the Weekly Collective website. Volunteers will assist with light housework and yard work for seniors in the community. Attendees are asked to bring cleaning supplies and a two-step ladder if available. Those interested in helping with yard work should also bring any preferred tools.
The event aims to provide much-needed assistance to local seniors and foster community spirit through collective volunteer efforts.
