Today, Donald J. Trump is set to be inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States. Congressman Andy Biggs has issued a statement regarding this event.

"American patriots have long awaited this day. Voters delivered a mandate last November; it’s time for that mandate to be fulfilled," Biggs stated.

Biggs criticized the previous administration, saying, "For four years, Americans have been under the tyrannical thumb of the Biden-Harris regime." He further accused former DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas of ignoring issues at the border and claimed that AG Merrick Garland had misused the Justice Department against citizens.

Highlighting Republican control over both legislative houses and the presidency, Biggs remarked, "We have a trifecta. Republicans control the House of Representatives, the Senate, and now the Presidency." He expressed optimism about enacting significant policy changes under Trump's leadership.

Biggs emphasized goals such as securing borders and addressing inflation: "Under President Trump’s leadership, we will secure our border. We will tackle inflation and bend the spending curve down."

He concluded by expressing his commitment to representing Arizona's Fifth District during this period: "I am honored to represent Arizona’s Fighting Fifth District in this historic time, and I look forward to working with my colleagues as we carry out American voters’ demands."
