On Saturday, March 22, former Mesa High School standout Mackenzie Shivers’ current collegiate team the Oregon State Beavers lost 70-49 against the North Carolina Tar Heels in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Carmichael Arena, this was the first game against the North Carolina Tar Heels during the championship.

Mackenzie Shivers’ hometown is Mesa and game position is guard.
