On Friday, March 21, former Az Compass Preparatory School standout Sammie Yeanay’s current collegiate team the Grand Canyon Antelopes lost 81-49 against the Maryland Terrapins in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Climate Pledge Arena, this was the first game against the Maryland Terrapins during the championship.

Sammie Yeanay’s hometown is Gainesville and game position is forward.
