The City of Chandler is extending an invitation to its residents, business owners, and community members to participate in ChandlerTalks. This free event aims to engage the community in the General Plan Update, which will influence the city's future growth and quality of life over the next ten years. The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 10, from 2-5 p.m. at the Chandler Center for the Arts, with a presentation at 4 p.m.

ChandlerTalks offers an opportunity for attendees to hear from local experts discussing important topics such as water and housing. Gabriel Jaramillo, Director of Healthy Communities at the Vitalyist Health Foundation, will moderate the panel.

Lauren Schumann, Chandler’s Principal Planner, emphasizes the importance of community participation by stating, “This is your city, and your voice matters. We’re excited to provide a space for the community to connect and help shape the Chandler of tomorrow—while learning about two focus areas that are priorities for our city going into the next 10 years.”

To attend ChandlerTalks, interested individuals must register online by Monday, May 5. Refreshments will be provided by Mingle + Graze, and attendees will have the chance to win a raffle prize.

For those who cannot attend, the city offers an online questionnaire available through June, enabling the public to give input on the General Plan's vision statement, guiding principles, core values, and other key issues. More details on the General Plan Update can be found on the Chandler General Plan website.
