Rep. Andy Biggs, a U.S. Congress member representing Arizona’s 5th district since 2017, has voiced his opinions on key issues through social media, particularly on Twitter. Known for his conservative stance, Biggs reflects on topics such as sanctuary laws, trust in leadership, and government spending as it relates to inflation.

On April 9, 2025, Andy Biggs posted about sanctuary laws in Washington State, stating that these laws violate federal statutes. He criticized "Radical Democrats who protect illegal aliens from detainment and deportation" and claimed they hinder law enforcement's ability to protect communities "Washington state’s sanctuary laws directly violate federal statutes. Radical Democrats who protect illegal aliens from detainment and deportation prohibit their law enforcement from keeping communities safe."

Later the same day, Andy Biggs made a brief comment in support of President Trump, asserting that Trump’s supporters, referred to as "Panicans," should trust him "ART OF THE DEAL. Panicans should learn to trust President Trump."

In another post made on April 9, Biggs discussed the implications of government spending, identifying it as the principal factor driving high inflation. He urged Congress to halt excessive spending to potentially lower prices "Government spending is the number one driver of high inflation. Do you want lower prices? Congress has to stop spending money hand over fist."

Andy Biggs has an extensive background in public service, having served in the Arizona Senate before joining the U.S. Congress. He was born in Tucson, Arizona, and holds a BA from Brigham Young University and a JD from the University of Arizona. He resides in Gilbert, reflecting his longstanding commitment to representing Arizona’s 5th district source.
