Chandler City Council approved agreements on April 10th for a water distribution project aimed at enhancing infrastructure in two neighborhoods, Tyson Manor and Sunset Manor. This initiative, known as the Water Main Replacement Project, will replace about 12,600 linear feet of water mains in the central part of Chandler, situated between Alma School Road and Hartford Street, and Chandler Boulevard and Galveston Street.

The Water Main Replacement Project is part of Chandler's ongoing efforts to address aging infrastructure, backed by the city's Capital Improvement Program (CIP). This program targets water mains likely to break due to age and condition, thus prioritizing their replacement. The improvements are expected to enhance system reliability and mitigate the risk of water damage.

The approval of these contracts by the Chandler City Council will propel the project forward, enabling construction work on the area's water distribution system.

Further details can be found at Main Replacements.
