Warren Petersen, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 to represent the 14th Senate District, has recently shared a series of statements on his social media account addressing issues ranging from legal ethics to political threats and campaign activities.

On October 7, 2025, Petersen posted, “Bar complaints should be used to protect people from actual harm, not to silence political disagreement.”

Later that same day, he addressed concerns about threats directed at his supporters. Petersen wrote on October 7, 2025: “One of my supporters received this threatening text from a coward hiding behind a fake phone number. Political violence and threats are unacceptable and we cannot stand for it. Disgusting and evil. My opponent should condemn this and stop it in its tracks.”

Continuing his outreach efforts across Arizona, Petersen provided an update on his campaign activities on October 8, 2025. He stated: “Over the past two days, we met great people across the state. We started in Cochise County, then visited Pima County, and later met the Consulate of India in Maricopa County. Today, we’re at a Pastors Summit in Pinal County. We gained endorsements, including from Cochise County”

Petersen began serving as state senator after replacing David Gowan in the Arizona State Senate’s 14th District following the 2023 election.
