Warren Petersen, a Republican and Arizona State Senator representing the 14th Senate District since 2023, announced on his Twitter account several campaign updates and actions in early April 2026.

On April 7, Petersen stated: “Today I referred Kris Mayes and Adrian Fontes to the Department of Justice for obstruction of justice and tampering with a witness. It is disturbing to see their resistance to an election integrity investigation.”

Two days later, on April 9, he posted about receiving support from a local official: “Another County Attorney has endorsed our campaign! County Attorney Brad Beauchamp has more than a decade of experience as the chief prosecutor for Gila County. Look forward to working with him to keep Arizona safe.”

Also on April 9, Petersen shared news of another endorsement: “Attorney, Vice Mayor of Scottsdale and Jewish leader Adam Kwasman has endorsed our campaign. Thank you for your support Councilmember Kwasman!”

Petersen was elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 after replacing David Gowan as senator for District 14.
