Warren Petersen, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 representing the state’s 14th Senate District, has posted a series of tweets commenting on recent political developments and legal decisions.

On November 5, 2025, Petersen congratulated a new councilmember in Mesa, stating, “Congrats to new councilmember @taylorformesa. Mesa moves right. NY and VA move left. NY voted for communism, and VA ratified an AG who fantasized violence. @TPAction_ is to be commended for delivering an impressive ground game in Mesa for the win.”

The following day, on November 6, 2025, he shared a meeting with Congressman Chip Roy: “It was great to catch up with Congressman @chiproytx, the future AG of Texas! https://t.co/6TEE5ho3nk”

Later that same day, Petersen commented on a Supreme Court decision regarding passport identification: “More winning and holdings from the Supreme Court for common sense! SCOTUS just ruled in favor of an amicus brief we joined—about only showing biological sex on passports. The Supreme Court has made the right call. A passport is a legal identity document—not a form of personal”

Petersen succeeded David Gowan as state senator after his election in 2023.
