Warren Petersen, a Republican who has represented Arizona’s 14th Senate District since 2023, recently used his social media platform to highlight the work of interns, law enforcement engagement, and public discourse surrounding the state’s Attorney General.
On January 28, 2026, Petersen posted about intern participation at a legislative district meeting: “We were well-represented by our interns at the LD 13 meeting tonight. They are helping restore sanity to the AG’s office!”
Later that day, he referenced an appearance on a national talk show to address comments made by Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes: “Joined @SeanHannity yesterday to push back against Kris Mayes’ irresponsible rhetoric that puts Arizonans and law enforcement at risk. Listen to my segment here.”
On January 29, Petersen reported on discussions with law enforcement representatives: “Had a great meeting with law enforcement from around the state. We will work hard this session to pass bills that support law enforcement and keep AZ safe!”
Petersen succeeded David Gowan in the Arizona State Senate after being elected in 2023. His recent statements reflect ongoing legislative priorities concerning public safety and administrative oversight within Arizona.
