Warren Petersen, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 to represent the state’s 14th Senate District, posted several updates on his social media account regarding recent political events and community activities.
On November 10, 2025, Petersen commented on legal actions involving Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes. He stated, “Mayes prioritized sex offenders over AZ citizens. Total insanity. Fortunately we defended the law and won.”
The following day, November 11, 2025, Petersen highlighted local political engagement in Scottsdale. He wrote, “Big turnout in Scottsdale for Barry Graham for reelection. Council member Graham has worked hard for his residents. He deserves a second term!”
Later that same day, Petersen discussed participation in a fundraising event for Legislative District 4 (LD4). He noted the significance of the district by posting, “Starting the day at a golf fundraiser for Legislative District 4. LD4 is a swing district. They are one of the districts that decide who holds a majority at the legislature. They did a great job last cycle helping us expand our majority!”
Petersen succeeded David Gowan as state senator after being elected in 2023.
