Warren Petersen, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 representing the 14th Senate District, has recently posted a series of statements on his social media account regarding his political activities and positions.
On October 14, 2025, Petersen wrote about his engagement with local political groups: “Last night, I got to meet with the Republican Women of Wickenburg. They are working hard to win in 2026. Today, we are in Prescott. https://t.co/BX9pYZLOov”
The following day, October 15, 2025, Petersen criticized Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, stating: “Kris Mayes should be fighting crime but instead she’s too busy covering for the Schumer shutdown by threatening to sue Speaker Mike Johnson. This insanity and waste of taxpayer dollars will end when I take office in January 2027.”
On October 16, 2025, Petersen commented on higher education policy and the University of Arizona, posting: “U of A should join the compact put forth by @realDonaldTrump for educational excellence. Students will know they can be part of a university free of discrimination, where they can enjoy freedom of expression and a freeze on tuition. https://t.co/1xAcGj6FFJ”
Petersen succeeded David Gowan in the Arizona State Senate after the 2023 election. He continues to be active in state politics and public discussions as the representative of Arizona’s 14th Senate District.
