Warren Petersen, a Republican who has represented Arizona’s 14th Senate District since 2023, recently shared updates on his campaign and legislative activity through a series of social media posts.

On April 13, 2026, Petersen stated: “Poll after poll shows the same thing: We are the frontrunner in the primary and the best positioned to retire Kris Mayes in November. Click the link in the comments below to join our team!”

The following day, on April 14, 2026, he announced a new endorsement: “Another endorsement from a strong conservative! Senator Wendy Rogers has been a rock solid conservative on all fronts. She works nonstop for her constituents and she delivers. Thank you Senator Rogers for your support!”

On April 16, 2026, Petersen addressed differences in negotiation approaches between state leaders: “Ducey didn’t walk away from the negotiating table like Hobbs did. We continued to meet with him even though he implemented a bill moratorium. Not the same.”

Petersen succeeded David Gowan as state senator for Arizona’s 14th district after being elected in 2023.
